Orígenes
Cultural Heritage × Artificial Intelligence
Connecting Heritage with the Future.
My original background as an Electronics Engineer, complemented by a Master's degree in Robotics and Automation, has given me a strong analytical mindset and extensive experience in innovation, technology and complex project management. These skills also influence the way I build Orígenes.
Digital platforms, e-commerce, data and emerging technologies provide new ways to connect artisans, objects, stories and customers across borders. Artificial Intelligence represents the next chapter of this exploration.
My ambition is not simply to use AI as a tool for productivity, content creation or business development. I am particularly interested in exploring how technology can contribute to the preservation and transmission of cultural heritage and ancestral knowledge.
Through Orígenes, I would like to investigate how Artificial Intelligence could help document traditional techniques, preserve artisanal gestures, transmit cultural narratives and improve the traceability of handmade objects and the people who create them.
Technology should not replace craftsmanship. It can help preserve its memory.
Potential applications I am interested in investigating include documentation of artisanal gestures, preservation of traditional techniques, cultural knowledge bases, digital archives, story preservation, artisan and material traceability, recognition and documentation of techniques, knowledge transmission to future generations, and cultural education — connecting physical heritage with digital memory. None of these are deployed products today; this is a research and exploration ambition.
My future training in Artificial Intelligence Project Management is part of this longer-term vision: creating meaningful connections between heritage, innovation and collective memory.
